Egypt Gets Un-Plugged

Last night, the Egyptian government, in essence, un-plugged the Internet from the people of Egypt. Nobody in Egypt can currently access the internet. The people of Egypt have hit the streets. They are protesting their right to access the Internet. These are some of the worst protests I have ever seen on TV.

How attached are you to the Internet? Billions of people use the Internet every single day. Thousands make a living selling and buying items all over the world, thanks to the Internet. You are reading this, thanks to the Internet.

What do you think would happen if this happened in America? Would you take to the streets to protest? Rumors are circulating around that the United States Government is developing an off switch for the Internet; an Osterhagen key for the web. Personally, I think this would be devastating.
